6 months ago I sent one of our Bible school graduates to the tribal village of Luhib to gain extra ministerial training by assisting one of the local pastors. Since then he has started a youth group, children’s ministry, two campus ministries with 80 students in attendance, and four in-home Bible studies. With such a large and rapid expansion they are in desperate need of Bibles and other teaching material. Our ministry there has an immediate need for approximately 20 Bisayan Bibles which cost $4 apiece.

Lihib Chicken Coop |

This September we have built a chicken coop in the tribal village of Luhib. The coop, large enough to grow 400 chickens is designed to raise finances to fund our missions work in that area as well as meet the needs of local families.
We will purchase one day old chickens and grow them for 11 weeks when we will sell them in the market and give some away. After six months we plan to have our own egg- laying hens to hatch our own chickens to save on operation costs. Once we purchase the first batch of chickens, the project should remain self supporting.
