Keith Roussel is the Founding
Director of World View
Ministries. In 2002 the Lord led
Keith to enroll in Spirit Life
Bible College in Irvine,
California. Upon graduating in
2005, he was directed by God to
go to the mission field under
the missions program Operation
500.
Having been assigned to the
Philippines, Keith went back to
his home in New Orleans to spend
time with his family and to
gather support before leaving.
However, in August of 2005 his
family, home and possessions
were devastated by hurricane
Katrina. With family and friends
now scattered across the United
States, it seemed like there was
no hope of immediately pursuing
his calling to the mission
field.
Determined to go to the
Philippines whether he had an
abundance of provision or just a
buck in his pocket, God did the
miraculous for Keith. The
windows of heaven were opened
over his life, and God made a
way where there seemed to be no
way.

"I thank God for all of the
great things that He is doing in
my life. He has truly performed
miracles and opened doors. In
2005 my family and our community
was devastated by hurricane
Katrina. Our house was covered
in 12 feet of water and our
lifestyle as we knew it was
wiped out in a single day. My
brother and I were fortunate to
get out of the flood zone before
the storm. However my parents
and sister, along with our small
dog, chose to weather the storm
in my grandparents two-story
home. Just when it seemed that
the storm had passed, the levies
broke, and within 30 minutes my
family was wading in water on
the second floor. They spent
five days in the house, sitting
on mattresses stacked above the
waterline until they were
rescued by a helicopter."

"God has been faithful
to myself and to my
family. He is more than
capable of carrying
people through physical
and emotional
devastation and making a
way where there seems to
be no way. I thank God
that He has enabled me
to continue in the work
that He has called me
to. For with God, all
things are possible."
Keith is currently
serving as a missionary
to the Philippines
through the minissions
program Operation 500.
Though stationed in
Davao City he ministers
throughout the
Philippines and other
southeast Asian nations,
commissioned to "...to
preach the gospel to the
poor; ... to heal the
brokenhearted, to
proclaim liberty to the
captives and recovery of
sight to the blind, to
set at liberty those who
are oppressed; to
proclaim the acceptable
year of the Lord." (Luke
4:18-19).
